Coaching Agreement

1. Agreement of Intent

  1. I Sam Bruce, (on behalf of Bespoke HR Solutions Ltd) confirm that by entering into this working relationship, I am understanding of the duty to serve the client and to work in what is agreed as being their best interest at all times.
  2. The client, confirms that by agreeing to this Coaching Agreement, they are taking responsibility for the extent of their development, including the rate at which they develop.

2. Confidentiality

  1. The assumption of this Coaching Agreement is that the client is also the financial sponsor. As such the coach, will treat anything that is discussed in the sessions to be of confidential nature.
  2. All accredited coaches receive supervision as part of their continued professional development. Supervision is another confidential setting where coaches can discuss conversations of interest with a more experienced coach. If there are any details of your coaching sessions that you do not want to be used in this way, indicate this during the session.
  3. The coach and client will discuss before any sessions that take place where the boundaries for confidentiality are positioned as outlined below.
  4. The client’s session contents will remain confidential.
  5. If the client wishes to share the content of any of their sessions with others supporting their development/progression, they may do so. Specifics like performance goals, or particular resources or support they require are common items that are often shared.

3. Professional Responsibilities

  1. Exceptions to clauses 2.1 and 2.2, would include if the client discloses anything to the coach that indicates a breach in law, or reveals the safety of an individual (including that of the client) is at risk. In such an event, the coach has a legal duty to report such incidents to the relevant authorities, including the Police, Social Services, or to a Judge if requested to do so, including providing full access to written session notes.
  2. The coach has a responsibility to refer any client who displays behaviours, which may indicate a more qualified or experienced practitioner is required.

 4. Practical Arrangements

  1. A suitable location will be agreed for the first session/s. The arrangement of further sessions will be agreed at the close of each meeting and is subject to changes, which may be communicated by either the coach, or client.
  2. The length and frequency, and price of the sessions will depend on the agreement at the point of purchase.
  3. It is standard practice for these sessions to take place via Zoom. Other video conferencing software can also be used at the clients request, expense and coordination.
  4. Sessions can be rearranged at no charge to the client, as long as the session is rebooked using the ‘cancel/rearrange’ link on the calendar invite, and that this occurs more than 48 hours before the session is due to begin.
  5. Bespoke HR Solutions Ltd reserve the right to refuse any sessions that are cancelled with less the 48 hours notice, in such cases no refund to the client will be offered.
  6. Re-arrangements for late cancellations may be considered by Bespoke HR Solutions Ltd in extreme circumstances.

5.  In-Between Session Tasking

  1. Coaching is a process of empowerment. As such the coach may suggest the completion of in-between session tasking. Whilst these tasks are always designed with maximum positive impact in mind, it remains the client’s responsibility to decide if these are completed, or to what degree.

 6. Session Management

  1. The sessions will be goal oriented.
  2. The sessions will be noted so that they can be reflected on. These discussions may also include the setting of tasks and goals, which may be reviewed at the start of the next session.

 7. Payment Terms

  1. Payment has been made at the point of order.
  2. Refunds for unused sessions may be considered, in the extreme and unlikely event that the client believes the coach is not performing their duty to an acceptable standard. Sessions completed are always non-refundable.
  3. Any refunds relating to Coaching Insight sessions (sessions including psychometric tools), will always factor in expensed incurred by Bespoke HR Solutions in purchasing the bespoke psychometric report.

 8. Termination of Agreement

  1. The agreement is automatically terminated one the completion of the final scheduled session.
  2. Either the coach (including Bespoke HR Solutions Ltd) or the client can terminate the agreement, without notice, where there is a belief that the other party has breached any clause within this contract.
